Set Shot Timing to Shots and Layups and Shot Meter to Off before anything else.
Open the menu (hold L2 / LT + Options / Menu) and confirm Button Rhythm reads 23 and Auto-Green reads 710 on the OLED.
In online MyCourt, click R3 standing still ten times. Early → raise Auto-Green, late → lower it, 5 ms at a time.
Then shoot ten plain Square shots at the same spot. If they feel off, run the Button Rhythm drill — there is no formula, only feel.
Expect roughly 70% with good values. If you are far below that, check the jumpshot before the values.

Settings this loadout assumes
| 2K setting | Set to | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Shot Timing | Shots and Layups | Non-negotiable: any other option and no shot can be timed. |
| Shot Meter | Off | Meter on narrows the green window. |
| Shot Feedback | All Shots | You need Early/Late on every rep to tune values. |
| Visual Cue | Jump or Set Point | Either works; pick one and keep it. |
| Pro Stick | Shots and Dribbles, or Shots Only | Shots and Dribbles only if you use the Dribble pages. |
| Controller deadzones | ~5% both sticks | Raise if the stick drifts. |
