Drill: find your Auto-Green value in online MyCourt

You need

  • yew2K loaded and the Zen's OLED showing the script name.
  • Controller in the A1 port.
  • Shot Timing: Shots and Layups. Shot Meter: Off. Shot Feedback: All Shots.

Auto-Green times and fully performs a standstill shot when you click R3 with the stick centred. It has one millisecond value, 300–900 in 5 ms steps. The value is the whole drill.

yew's framing: it is not going to work in 100% of situations; good values should have you at roughly 70%.

  1. Fix the settings

    In 2K's controller settings set Shot Timing to Shots and Layups and Shot Meter to Off. These two are the number one reason people think Auto-Green is not working.

  2. Go online

    Load online MyCourt, not offline. Offline MyCourt timing differs from online.

  3. Open the menu

    Hold L2 / LT and press Options / Menu. The menu draws on the Zen's OLED. Keep L2 / LT held while you navigate.

  4. Find Auto-Green

    D-pad Right until the OLED shows the Auto-Green page. Up / Down toggles it On. Hold Cross / A and tap Up / Down to set 710, yew's Sept 3 value.

  5. Shoot ten

    Release L2 / LT. Stand still, click R3 like a button — do not flick it. Read the Shot Feedback on each of ten shots.

  6. Move 5 ms

    Mostly Early → raise the value 5 ms. Mostly Late → lower it 5 ms. Re-open the menu, hold Cross / A, tap once. Values save automatically.

  7. Repeat

    Ten more shots at the new value. Stop when Early and Late roughly balance and the greens are around what yew describes: roughly 70%.

  8. Check the jumpshot

    If you cannot get there at any sensible value, the jumpshot is almost always the problem. Fast, straight releases give the widest windows.

Done when

Ten standstill R3 shots at one value with Early and Late roughly balanced and greens near what yew describes as a good value: around 70%.

If it goes wrong

Common misreads

  • 01

    It is not firing at all

    Shot Timing is not Shots and Layups, the script is not running, the build is outdated (re-download and recompile), or the controller is not in A1. Also: with SQ Remap set to R3 the Auto-Green click is L3.

  • 02

    It fires a stick shot

    You flicked R3 instead of clicking it, or the stick was not inside the centre.

  • 03

    The value will not change

    Up / Down without Cross / A held only toggles On / Off. Hold Cross / A.

  • 04

    Green offline, off online

    You tuned offline. Offline MyCourt timing differs. Re-run online.
