Drill: patch day reset — Generator, Zen Studio, MyCourt, Rec

WherePC with Zen Studio, then online MyCourt, then Rec

You need

  • A yew2K licence and your yew.gg login (the Generator is owners-only).
  • The Zen connected to the PC by the PROG port. Zen Studio Live in Chrome.
  • Your current values written down.

yew2K is generator-based: your settings are compiled into the GPC you download. After a 2K patch you do not patch the old file, you re-run the Generator and load the new build. Free weekly updates ship through the 2K27 cycle.

yew's order is fixed: Generator, load, validate in online MyCourt, then Rec.

  1. Re-run the Generator

    Sign in at yew.gg, open the Script Download page and run the Generator with your settings. Download the new .gpc.

  2. Compile in Zen Studio

    Open Zen Studio (Live, in Chrome). Compiler tab → drag in the .gpc → Compile.

  3. Slot it

    Drag the compiled script into one of the 8 memory slots, then press Play (the flash icon).

  4. Move to the console

    Disconnect the Zen from the PC. Controller into A1, CONSOLE port to the PS5 / Xbox. Pick the slot with the Zen's button. The OLED should show the script name; yew2K shows its logo during a 1500 ms menu lockout at boot.

  5. Check settings

    Confirm Shot Timing still reads Shots and Layups and Shot Meter still reads Off before you shoot anything.

  6. Validate in online MyCourt

    Open the menu and confirm each page still reads your value. Run the Auto-Green drill: ten R3 clicks, early → raise, late → lower. Fire each shot page you use once.

  7. Then Rec

    Play a Rec game. If one shot type is consistently off, adjust that page 5 ms and re-check in MyCourt.

Done when

New build on the Zen, OLED showing the script name, settings confirmed, every page you use fired once in online MyCourt with acceptable feedback, one Rec game played.

If it goes wrong

Common misreads

  • 01

    Menu will not open after the update

    Outdated build still in the slot — re-download and recompile — or the controller is not in A1. Firmware referenced by this site: 2.3.2.

    Zen Studio version

    Zen Studio Live (browser, Chrome, current 1.0.8) is primary. Zen Studio Legacy 1.7.0 b7 only works for firmware 2.2.14 and below.

  • 03

    Skipping MyCourt

    Rec is the second stop. Offline MyCourt is not a substitute for online.
